At the end of last week, the 2011 VW Golf Cabrio has been confirmed for production by Prof. Dr. Martin Winterkorn, CEO of Volkswagen. Confirmed that the 2011 VW Golf Cabrio will go into production next spring in the company’s plant in Osnabruck. No details of the VW Golf Cabrio 2011 have been revealed, but expect a soft top, like their predecessors. Although not yet confirmed, several sources suggest using a VW engine 1.2-liter three-cylinder gas in the Eos TSI to power down over the Golf. Price-wise, the Golf convertible probably slot just below the Eos. VW plants in Wolfsburg and Mosel produce the new convertible only.
