2011 Fiat Palio ended the episode of India recently, but history is not the same for Fiat Palio for many other global markets. Palio had a good market sentiment in the markets of South America. Palio but recently experienced a sharp drop in sales in markets like Brazil, Argentina after the Fiat Uno made its debut.
To quote the old glory Palio, Fiat plans to launch a new version of it in these strategic markets by mid next year. The new Palio (Code: – Project – 326) is nearing completion, and here’s another version of this car to come early Italians.
As stated by an auto magazine, the new Palio is a “refreshed, artistic improvisation by taking clues from Fiat Punto Evo”, the later revealed at the last Frankfurt Motor Show. The front grille much resembles that of Punto whereas the bottom portion retains the looks of its predecessor, the current Palio.
The slanted tail gate and sharp tail lamps take its structure one step further towards the New Grande Punto. It is also stipulated that the engines of the new Palio will abide by the Bharat Stage IV emission norms. The car is expected to carry forward the same price tag of Rs 3.45-4.5 lakh as the current Palio.
